African House Snake

This is Africa

African House Snakes are rather small colubrids in comparison to most snakes we work with. From what I understand there is a debate as to whether these little guys are classified as Boaedon or Lamprophis, but either way there are a variety of taxa for them. Click HERE to find out more about their classifications.

From our experience thus far, they make terrific pets. Typically, Africa eats well, he sheds nicely and is easy to house. That same link above provides other great information about their care and breeding.

We are looking for a female who is also het albino. It is my understanding that these guys are highly prolific having multiple clutches each year. I can't wait until we find her and they are old enough to start having babies.

Mom is doing Greek

So, I was working on my Greek and Latin homework, but the cats kept bothering me. I guess they were hungry. However, θανατος finally decided to stand guard.
